Kitchen/Dining Room
Like the rest of the house, the kitchen at Holly-Garth is equipped to a high standard, and has a solid oak floor to compliment the beech and stainless steel finishes. There is a dishwasher to make your washing up much easier. The electric oven is a Neff double oven with a fan oven and conventional oven, the latter of which includes a grill. A large gas hob and a microwave oven complete the cooking facilities. A large Bosch Fridge/Freezer provides ample food storage. The kitchen houses a washing machine and condenser tumble dryer. Drying rack, clothes pegs and clothes line are provided as a 'green' drying alternative for fine weather. Off the kitchen and up a small step, is a downstairs shower with wash basin and WC.

The high ceilinged dining room is beautifully furnished with oak floorboards and a roomy dark wood dining table and matching sideboard. An electric foodwarmer is provided to stop your food from growing cold before you can serve it. A high chair is available for families with very small children. The comfortable dining chairs are Lloyd Loom, with an antique oak church pew. The room easily seats 8 and looks out over the courtyard garden. French doors can be thrown open in the summer bringing the dining room into the garden, and creating a cool airy space for those warm summer evenings. |
