Christmas/New Year at Holly-Garth

Alternatively, you can enjoy the log fire, cosy surroundings and excellent facilities that Holly-Garth has to offer.The 2009 and 2010 Christmas and New Year were particularly picturesque on account of the large amounts of snow. This is an area which is always attractive and festive at that time of year.
We tastefully decorate the house for clients For Christmas and New Year. The large dining table comfortable seats 8 people. We supply ample cutlery and crockery, which means that you can have a proper family Christmas lunch. The cooking facilities will easily cope with a turkey and all the trimmings. After lunch you can settle down and let the dishwasher clean the pots while you watch a movie in front of the roaring real fire in the sitting room. There are no arguments over what to watch with two televisions in two comfortable sitting rooms
If you want to walk off the excesses of Christmas, there are plenty of local paths that can be accessed without getting the car out of the drive. The walk from Helmsley to Rievaulx is a particularly lovely route which does a very good job of blowing the cobwebs away. We speak from experience. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the snow.
