Bedrooms

All of the bedrooms at Holly-Garth have bed linen provided, chosen to complement the curtains and the furnishings in each room. The Master bedroom and bedroom 3 have a comfortable mixture of modern and antique furniture. Stair gates are available for those with small children, along with a travel cot for babies(cot linen is NOT provided). The stairs divide at the top to form an east landing and a west landing, ideal for two families. There is a fixed stairgate at the top of the stairs on the West Landing

Please note that all bedrooms are on the first floor.

West Landing

Master Bedroom

Furnished with an antique bed, high quality wooden furniture and a stylish black glass chandelier, the master bedroom at Holly-Garth has, like many other rooms in this house, original art on the wall. Equipped with a freeview LCD television, radio alarm clock and hairdryer. This room has a dressing table, large wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Duncombe park can be seen across the rooftops from one of the bedroom windows. A spacious ensuite bathroom leads from this bedroom with corner bath, washbasin, WC and full length mirror. There is a hand held shower on the bath.

Bedroom 2

Accessed from the same end of the landing as the master bedroom, bedroom 2 has twin 3ft divan beds with brass and porcelain headboards. These beds can be zipped together to form a superking bed. When booking, please specify whether you would like twin beds or a superking, as bedding will be supplied accordingly. This bedroom has a large built - in cupboard / wardrobe with drawers, a chest of drawers with mirror over, bedside cabinets and a full length dressing mirror. This South and West facing room has a lovely view of the ruined Helmsley Castle over the rooftops.

East Landing

Bedroom 3

At the other end of the landing, bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with a comfortable, waxed pine double bed, wardrobe and an antique chest of drawers. It has original stripped pine floorboards. It is a warm, sunny, south-facing room with an electric oil-filled radiator for cool winter nights. This room comes equipped with a radio alarm clock and hairdryer.

Bedroom 4

Bedroom 4 is at the back of the house and is a warm, cosy room with twin pine single beds, hanging cupboard and pine chest of drawers with a mirror over. It has a full-length dressing mirror and light beech-coloured Laminate flooring, with a rug.

Family Bathroom

This is a comfortable bathroom with WC, wash handbasin with mirror over and a large shower cubicle with a power shower. There is a heated towel rail. Please note that there is a further shower room WC on the ground floor to help prevent those morning bathroom arguments.
